The number one question we get asked all the time. It’s a bit tricky.. Yes and No. Yes, the metal does get hot to touch when there is no water inside but when your tank is filled and ready to enjoy, the metal is not hot. Makes Sense? The water in the tank will neutralize the tank’s exterior temperature. The water in a stock tank pool will vary in temperature based on sun exposure. For example: we live in a city that reaches 110 degrees in the summer and our tanks are in full sun all day and the highest our water temperature has reached is 85-88 degrees.

Don’t worry, we got you covered! Our Stock Tank Pool Packages include a high quality sand filter. Just like an above ground pool, a filter should run a few hours a day, a sanitizer of your choice (we like 35% hydrogen peroxide) should be used, a skimmer to remove leaves, bugs, debris, a pool vacuum to pick up any fine dirt that settles at the bottom of your stock tank pool and a cover to keep to keep it even cleaner. Let’s face it, no one wants a dirty tank, so add these items to your stock tank pool package and they will all be available to you once we arrive. Keep your tank happy and shiny. Its that easy!

Corrosion and Rust in livestock tanks are inevitable in galvanized tanks. They were manufactured for animals to drink from, therefore, they were not intended to have chemicals poured inside. But we are EXTRA and have turned them into chic pools for you to frolic in. You're welcome!

Corrosion is when the galvanization in a tank starts to get eaten away due to hard water or chemicals. The “shininess” of a tank will start to disappear and have a rough texture..

Rust happens due to a chemical reaction and will happen within days.

With a bit of care, they can last years. Here are a few tips and tricks to keep your tank as pretty as long as possible.

1. Use an inline filter to fill or refill a tank when needed. It’s “almost” like a water softener. The inline filter connects to a hose and provides a small barrier from chlorine and mineral deposits from city water to enter and attach to your tank’s walls. If you decide to go with chlorine, use a chlorine dispenser. Never throw a chlorine tablet directly into your tank or allow pieces of chlorine to settle.

2. We recommend to all of our customers to use 35% hydrogen peroxide. It’s not harsh as chlorine, it's safer for your plants and softer on your skin and best of all it doesn’t smell. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to dissolve a few hours before using.

3. Skim, vacuum and cover your tank. If your tank is not covered, skim and vacuum your tank often every 3 days or so. Allowing debris to settle at the bottom of your tank will also cause it to corrode faster.

If you ever had to drain your stock tank, we highly suggest purchasing a sump pump. It's the fastest and cleanest way to drain a tank.

Steps:

1. Purchase your sump pump at your local HD

2. Hook up your hose to your sump pump

3. Place the end of your hose where you want your water to drain

4. Submerge your pump and allow air bubbles to escape

5. Plug your sump pump to an outlet/ extension cord

6. DRAIN!

*If you pump is not sucking water, check for kinks in your hose.

Yes. However, please let us know in advance if you live on a dirt road, hill, one way street, etc. We like to be prepared with the right towing vehicle, size trailer, and state of mind LOL.

We deliver and service all throughout NorCal, SoCal, Arizona, and Vegas area. If are outside our delivery regions, we can ship our 6ft, 7ft and 8ft Pools Nationwide.

We are going to be honest here. The reason why we only offer deposits on our website is because our hosting company charges an arm and a leg for transactions. Instead of tacking this fee to our products, we have decided to just take a non-refundable deposit and your remaining balance will be due upon pickup, delivery or stock tank pool install. Your deposit will reserve your tank and the order in which your tank was reserved in which will determine your delivery/installation date.

We are a small business providing a highly sought after unique product. Our tanks sell out quickly, therefore your deposit guarantees your tank reservation and installed time line. Upon your reservation, we start the planning, scheduling, and prepping process. Whether you purchase a stock tank, pool package, bench or add-on, we plan out every item (big or small) that leaves our lot. It’s a very detailed process so your commitment is important to us just as ours is to you.

Our team will contact you within 5-7 days of purchase and schedule your install date. Have your cameras ready!

Yes. After your confirmed scheduled date, we will send you an invite with your Work Order and Install Requirements.

Upon pickup, delivery or stock tank pool install, your total is due. We accept cash, checks or any major credit cards. We offer $50 off cash payments.

We require your side yard and backyard to have a clear path from roof eaves, tree branches, trash cans, furniture, hanging lights, wires etc…

For example: If you ordered a 10x2ft tank, we require at least 11ft height clearance and 3ft wide entrance Check your side gate/roof eave clearance.

We really hope this is not the case, however, if you do not have clearance, our team will assess the situation and decide whether they can get it safely to your backyard another way. If a safe alternative is not available, they will leave it on your front lawn/driveway.. At that point it will be your responsibility to get your tank to your backyard.
We do not accept returns. A fee will be applied if our team has to return to install your filter.

We currently use a 14” Intex Sand Filter. Our filter runs off a 120v and has a 25ft power cord. It should be plugged into a GFCI outlet. If you do not have an outdoor outlet available, a heavy-duty extension cord (10-12 gauge) can be used TEMPORARILY until a permanent GFCI outlet is installed. Your connections must be waterproofed.

We require a pre-leveled area for your tank to sit on. We recommend concrete or paver sand. DG can also be used but just to warn you… you will hear “crunching” when you step in your tank.

Personal Experience: We have used pea gravel under our tank, BUT disliked it. We did not care for the crunching sound under our tank. So we switched it out for paver sand. On another tank, we added paver sand plus children’s play matts. It’s super soft and quite.

TIP: If you plan to place your tank on a deck, please check your deck’s weight capacity. You are looking at thousands of lbs sitting on your deck 24/7.

We created a tailor-made gas or propane heating system just for stock tank pools. You must have our filter installed to purchase our propane, gas, or electric heating option.

We highly recommend the following heating option for each specific size tank:

6ft Pools - 10ft Pools - Natural Gas
6ft Pools - 8ft Pools: Propane
6ft Pools - 10ft Pools: 240v Electric

With such an open pool of water, pools are not easy to heat if you do not have the correct insulation and/or cover.

Yes! We can come back when you are ready to install your TANKUZZI. Your tank must be drained for one additional hole to be drilled into your tank.

Three things you will must provide before install:

1. Tank drained and dried

2. One Additional Outlet

3. 4x4 treated post no more than 6ft from your tank. If you prefer to have your TANKUZZI further than 6ft, an additional charge will be applied to your invoice for the additional parts used.

4. Gas Details: 3/4 Gas line with a male end nipple and shut off valve no further than 6ft from your tank.

5. Propane Details: Propane Tank must be provided by customer.
